As the name implies, Cavin Geotechnical and Environmental (CGE) is a consulting engineering firm specializing in the fields of geotechnical and environmental engineering. The company was started by Mr. T. Scott Cavin, P.E. and offers experienced and cost effective solutions to projects requiring these highly specialized services. Mr. Cavin has been a private engineering consultant for over 25 years, primarily in the central Florida region. Our centralized location in Florida allows us to service the entire central Florida area as well as across the entire state.
In addition to offering standard geotechnical and environmental consulting services, CGE offers highly specialized services including groundwater flow modeling, saltwater intrusion modeling, and contaminant transport modeling studies. Our company routinely provides services requiring regulatory agency review, both for public and private sector projects.
